Wizard Class

The wizard class is divided into 10 stages that span 2 levels.

Stage 1: You gain +2 AMP; You gain +1 to Will saves
Stage 2: You gain +2 AMP; You gain 1 1st level spell of your choice
Stage 3: You gain +2 AMP; You gain +1 to Int
Stage 4: You gain +2 AMP; You gain 1 wizard bonus feat
Stage 5: You gain +2 AMP; You gain 1 1st level spell of your choice
(Increase to Second Level)
Stage 6: You gain +2 AMP; You gain +1 to a save of your choice
Stage 7: You gain +2 AMP; You gain +1 to your casting ability (this impacts the DC for all your spells regardless of type, increasing the DC of all your spells by 1)
Stage 8: You gain +2 AMP; You gain +1 to Int, Wis, or Cha
Stage 9: You gain +2 AMP; You gain 1 wizard bonus feat
Stage 10: You gain +2 AMP; You gain 1 1st level spell of your choice

Wizard Bonus Feats: Hypermagic Feats, Paramagic Feats, Metamagic Feats, Arcane Feats (feats that pertain to school or tier costs), Item Creation Feats, Infusion Feats (arcane, combat-affecting feats), Spell Concentration (feats that improve specific spell DC)

After reaching stage 8 of the wizard class, a wizard is eligible to apply at the Tower of High Sorcery for the opportunity to pass the test. The test is a challenge given to wizards before they are allowed to be taught higher level magic, lest they lack appropriate conviction and appreciation for their ‘art’. Wizards who neglect to pass the test or choose not to become wizards of high sorcery instead become known as renegades.
